- Founded in 2004 , White Horse laboratories chose Shenzhen as its first station.
- After nearly 20 years' evolution, the White Horse lab in Shenzhen has grown to a comprehensive headquarters, which consists of operations, general administration, sales and customer service.
- Containing more than 120 employees, more than a half of which are affiliated to operations. The lab covers an area over 2000 square meters, where full AS6081 Tests and advanced electrical test are covered.
- In 2023, the William Shockley Testing Centre achieved the highly esteemed ISO 17025:2015 accreditation, confirming the quality of our test lab and strict adherence to highest industry standards

Our team
- White Horse Shenzhen Team was first built in 2004, including lab technicians, administration, sales and customer service segments. Under our family-oriented company culture, a large part of employees have joined for over 10 years.
- More than 60 skilled technicians and seasoned engineers in our Shenzhen team are working in operations.
- Over the past years, the team have offered training for our new-established labs in Singapore and Cleveland.
The William Shockley Testing Centre
William Shockley was awarded the 1956 Nobel Prize in Physics for his research on semiconductors and discovery of the transistor effect. He could be considered the father of microelectronics and we might not be doing what we do today without him.
To pay homage to the great scientist, Mark Rinehart, the founder of White Horse Laboratories, named our first lab after William Shockley. It reminds us to work with revere to science, and to the industry.
- At the ISO 17025:2015 accredited William Shockley Testing Centre, we offer the full range of AS6081 required test methods as well as advanced electrical testing, lifecycle & reliability testing and failure analysis.
- Our offering includes documentation and packaging inspection, detailed visual inspection, x-ray fluorescence (XRF) and x-ray analysis, heated solvent testing, decapsulation and die analysis, solderability testing, cross-section, and electrical testing including temperature range.
- Moreover, our QA team provide factory audit for customers to mitigate supply chain risks in advance.
